Files

Now, if you've not followed along and don't have hosting from Dataflame you may not be using cPanel. If this is the case upload the tar.gz of drupal, untar it and make sure the files are in the host dir with wichever way you choose.

If You have cPanel open it up and login

  1. Hit File manager making sure "Web Root (public_html/www)" is selected
  2. Hit upload
  3. Click Choose file and choose your drupal-6.XX.tar.gz (where XX is the version)
  4. Once complete click the 'Back to...' link at the bottom
  5. Back in file manager select the file you've just uploaded
  6. Click Extract from the top menu
  7. Click Extract from the window
  8. Click close in the window
  9. Double click on the new Drupal folder
  10. Select all the files and drag them to 'public_html' on the left
  11. Delete the now empty drupal folder.
